Thank You!
Posted on December 08, 2009 by Mike Capuano
Dear Friend,
I would like to congratulate the next U.S. Senator of Massachusetts, Martha Coakley. She ran a good campaign. I am going to be there to help make her our next Senator, and when she gets elected, we are going to work hard to make sure she is successful.
I would also like to thank all of you. Stop and think about what we built in this short amount of time. In two and a half months, we went from 0 to 100 miles per hour across this state building a strong grassroots organization. What we did is pretty darn amazing.

Pearl Harbor Day
Posted on December 06, 2009 by Capuano for Senate Campaign
Today, on the anniversary of Pearl Harbor, as the son of a wounded World War II veteran, I extend my eternal gratitude to all those who responded in their country’s time of need.
68 years later, America’s enemies are more dispersed, more asymmetrical and more comfortable fighting in the shadows. And our response to those threats must reflect the reality of the threat today, a threat much different than what my father faced in World War II.

Collecting Stories
Posted on November 29, 2009 by Capuano for Senate Campaign
Wherever we go, we end up collecting stories about Mike's interactions with his constituents. People love to tell us why they like Mike! This story comes from one of our volunteers, and we'd like to share it with you.
"This morning I went to fill out my absentee ballot for the Special Election on December 8th. On my way, I was stopped by a woman who noticed the Capuano for Senate pin I was wearing. She told me that she would be voting for Capuano on December 8th, and she wanted to let me know why. This woman shared with me a sweet story about the Congressman."

A Woman Named Norma
Posted on November 25, 2009 by Michael A. Capuano
I spent a few minutes last night thinking about all of the people I’ve had the chance to meet and talk with over the last few months when this campaign began. I have met hundreds upon hundreds of people as we’ve been traveling across the state. But I also thought back to a woman I met and got to have a conversation with. She’s not an activist. She’s not a blogging political junkie. She’s a middle-aged woman originally from El Salvador, working a second job at the laundromat where I bring my dry cleaning, named Norma.
